Achilles Tendon Injury Supplement Cissus RX

Our research on the rehabilitation of the achilles tendon has lead us to Super Cissus RX, Omega-3, Zinc and vitamin C. My son has had an achilles problem in both legs for two years now. He has undergone physical therapy, use of boots and orthotics, orthotripsy procedures on both legs, PRP therapy on both legs, and he still has pain. We have decided to try some supplements to aid in his healing. This page will be updated on his progress to a full recovery.

After 1 week of taking the Super Cissus Rx (3 capsules 3X a day) and the Omega-3 (1 a day) my son has seen minor improvement in the amount of pain feels in his achilles.

After 2 weeks on Super Cissus Rx my son says it isn't hurting to walk anymore but when he starts to walk real fast he feels like things get a little tight. Running still out of the question. Will let you know what week 3 brings.

Week 3, we decided to add 1000mg. of Vitamin C and 50mg. of Zinc to the Cissus and Omega 3. There has been some improvement, Sky is now able to walk long distances without any discomfort and rode the stationary bike for twenty minutes with no pain.

Week 4, not much has changed since week 3, he hasn't complained about pain so I'm hopeful that a full recovery may be possible.

Week 5, today my son said he was going out to play a little basketball, I reminded him to take it easy and stop at any sign of discomfort. Let's see what it feels like tomorrow.

Week 6, I'm pretty pleased with the results we have seen with the Cissus, Omega 3, vitamin C, and Zinc. My son played pick up basketball for the first time in what seems like forever and is very excited. He is still icing after any activity out of fear of his achilles returning to their prior condition.

Follow up- After several weeks he is still playing it cautious and quits all activity for a day or two at the sign of any tightness or pain.

I'm happy to say that my son has played in all 8 games for his team so far this season. His achilles still give him a little problem but he is able to play. He was really getting discouraged there for awhile so this is great. I would definitely say that the Cissus RX helped in his recovery and ability to run and jump again. Keep ya updated..

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that my son's achilles held up for the basketball season. The bad news is that he got a bad sprain in practice with 6 games left, it was so bad they put him in a cast thinking it was broke.
